About this event

Zanzibar turns glitter, turquoise and full volume joy for the island's biggest queer night. Doors open at 18:00 on the sand as the sun melts into the Indian Ocean, then the night is ours: a sunset drag showcase in full feather and sequins, Afrobeats, bongo flava and house from DJs in Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Zanzibar, a fashion runway of island prints and fierce looks, and a community market of queer-owned stalls and coastal street food. Families of choice land here from more than 20 countries  strangers at sundown, family by sunrise. The dance floor runs until 06:00.
